Cardiff, Wales – May 28, 2025 –
The Miss Earth Wales Organization is proud to announce that Abigail Wood has been crowned Miss Earth Wales 2025. The event was held at the Memo Arts Centre, Barry on Sunday 25th May. With her poise, passion for environmental advocacy, and unwavering commitment to sustainability, Abigail will represent Wales on the international stage at the Miss Earth 2025 pageant later this year.
Abigail holds a Master of Science in Environmental Biology: Conservation and Resource Management, and she is the founder of the Wild About Nature Initiative. This inspiring program is dedicated to connecting children with nature, encouraging them to become passionate conservationists and future eco-leaders.
“My passion for wildlife began from a young age and my advocacy is a reflection of the hard work that I have put into creating my Wild About Nature Activity Book,” said Abigail. “The book aims to encourage children to embrace nature and inspire the next generation of conservation experts.”
Joining Abigail in this year’s prestigious court are three remarkable women who have also been recognized for their outstanding qualities and dedication to environmental causes:
Miss Earth Wales Air 2025: Sarann John
Miss Earth Wales Water 2025: Milena Tomaszewska
Miss Earth Wales Fire 2025: Kaylesha Addati

These titleholders exemplify the values and mission of the Miss Earth organization, promoting environmental awareness, sustainability, and community engagement.
"We are incredibly proud of Abigail and her fellow elemental queens," said a Danielle Latimer, the national director for Miss Earth Wales. "Their commitment to making a positive impact on our planet aligns perfectly with what Miss Earth stands for. We look forward to supporting their environmental projects and seeing Abigail shine on the global stage."
