VICTORIA BRAIN
Victoria Brain is a final-year Geography student at Swansea University, and a Royal Navy reservist as an Officer Cadet within the University Royal Naval Unit. Raised on the oceans with the natural world as her early educator, her connection to the environment has shaped every part of her journey from academia and service to advocacy and leadership.
Victoria is also pursuing a future career in the Royal Navy, as an aspiring aircrew and engineer, where her experiences through URNU Wales have developed her leadership, resilience, and commitment to service. Her desire to join the military stems from her personal belief that to serve is to protect, whether it be serving and protecting environments or the country. Her academic research further reflects these passions, exploring the geography of female military recruitment and retention in the UK and the importance of representation and community within modern defence spaces.
Driven by purpose and grounded in authenticity, Victoria represents a modern Miss Earth Wales woman; passionate, ambitious, and committed to leading with both strength and compassion. She hopes to inspire others to recognise that protecting our planet is not just a responsibility, but a privilege.
